Hi All,
I have a lot going on right now so I’ll try to keep this brief.
Tomorrow, I fly to New York for New York Comic Con 2022. It’s one of my favorite cons. The people are great, it’s always well attended, I get to see friends I haven’t seen in a while, and there’s no place for food like NYC. This will be the first time I’m a guest of the convention. And this will sound strange, but thankfully I only have one panel. “Thankfully,” because I’ll be spending most of my time there editing The King-Killing Queen when I’m not on the one panel and attending Terry’s panels/signings.
Well, what panel am I on? I was asked to moderate the Saturday Titans of Fantasy In Conversation panel featuring Terry Brooks, Diana Gabaldon and Brandon Sanderson. Talk about the potential for a great discussion! I had to do it. Not only do I like and respect all three of these authors, but I have my own news concerning The King-Killing Queen to share on the following Monday that I might squeak into the panel if the opportunity presents itself. A win-win, so to speak. So if you are attending NYCC, definitely come to the Titans of Fantasy In Conversation panel. I promise it will be an awesome time!
And if you have any of my books or just want to stop by and say hello, I’ll be at the after-panel signing as well as at the signings with Terry Brooks over the weekend. I love meeting SF&F dorks like me. It makes me happy. Hope to see you.
